More than another “hot-spot”, connecting with 41,000 users has never been easier.
Connecting with your end user and ensuring an excellent experience has never been more important. People are spending less, and keeping a keen eye on all purchases. Creating the most robust and satisfying experience can be the difference between a happy user, and a lost customer.
FanConneX has teamed up with the San Francisco Giants to create that next level of user experience. Attending a baseball game has always been a favorite American pastime. The San Francisco Giants and FanConneX brought together park conveniences, game day enhancements and entertainment all in a handy wifi enabled park site called “the Digital Dugout“.
The Digital Dugout is one of many venue specific websites powered by the FanConneX engine. The site is available only during game time, and only within the stadium. It is free, and available to any ticket holder that brings a wifi enabled device (including laptops, ipods, handheld gaming & mobile devices). This robust site is packed with fan enhancements. It allows users to:
- easily find their favorite concessions
- watch instant video replays
- play games
- view stats
- provide closed captioning for the hearing impaired
- access email and the internet
More than 1,300 fans are logging on per game. That’s an instant connection to the ticket holder, the fan that they want to return. Usage at the Park has increased by 537% since the Giants hosted the 2007 MLB All-Star Game. Fans are loving it, and look forward to this as another piece of value they are receiving for their ticket purchase.
FanConneX is available for all fan experiences, and can create a custom interface that will connect any brand with it’s end users. Don’t just provide another hot-spot, create a destination.

[...] If you find yourself in San Francisco, hit up the Giants for a full closed caption experience. I saw this tonight on Twitter. Haven’t tried it though: San Francisco Giants Connect With Their Fans – Birdsall Social Media [...]

The FanCaption portion of FanConneX is now featured on The Telegraph (London) Hearing Blog.
Also, FanCaption was rolled out at Miller Park in Milwaukee; and will be a welcome addition to the thousands of attendees of the Hearing Loss Association of America convention held there in June 2010.
